Pizza people get ready for the ultimate pizza eating & learning experience in New York City! Taste of New Haven is teaming up with Scott’s Pizza Tours once again, and for the first time heading from Connecticut to the City! For this one day we connect pizza gurus Scott Wiener and Colin M. Caplan for the NYC Pizza Tour With Colin & Scott! This is two of the leading pizza tour guides coming together in the city that really made pizza famous around the globe!
This tour will bring guests to four secretive, top-hitting pizzerias including eight slices of pizza, beer and soda, and lots of behind-the-scenes looks at New York City’s pizza history and ever-changing trends and moves. The tour consists of two parts: those traveling from Connecticut can join Colin from New Haven or any stop on the Metro North Railroad as we head into the City, taking over a special train car and featuring some pre-tour treats (tickets sold separately & on your own) ! We then meet Scott at Grand Central Terminal and hop on the Pizza School Bus for a 5-hour pizza tour in multiple boroughs.
The tour ends back at Grand Central Terminal where guests can get back on the Metro North or stay in the City for more adventures on their own!
