This fun vehicle to show your love of pizza was conceived, designed and orchestrated by Taste of New Haven’s Pizza Guru Colin M. Caplan and was an instant success when it launched on PI Day, March 14, 2025 securing 545 applicants in three days, and setting into motion America’s first pizza themed license plate!
Connecticut drivers have the chance to sport the tastiest license plate! The Pizza State Special Interest License Plate is offered to all CT residents who have a current DMV automobile registration. You can transfer your existing plate, replace your plate or apply for a new vanity plate number upgrading to this Special Interest Pizza Themed Plate! We are also doing good together because this plate creates awareness for Connecticut Foodshare, the state’s largest food bank, who tirelessly help those in dire need suffering from food insecurity.
